Call For Audio Volunteers
“You can design and create and build the most wonderful place in the world.
But it takes people to make the dream a reality”.
Walt Disney
Have you ever gone to a live music event and seen the people sitting by a console with all kinds of blinking lights and a myriad of knobs and wonder, how does all that work?
Do you have past experience with sound reinforcement from church or community theater, or music production?
Or, are you interested in learning more about operating the audio systems at The Grand?
We have committed community leadership providing funds and resources to upgrade our audio systems to be state of the art at our different performing venues, but it takes people to operate them.
We are looking for volunteers to join our team of friends and neighbors who are responsible for ensuring the audio quality during live performances by the Music Club and Drama Club.
Now is your chance to be part of the show!
As a live sound engineer, you’ll be behind the scenes working these events, helping set up sound systems and learning to operate mixing boards to help musicians and performers get the most out of their shows for the audience.
Under the watchful eye of our experienced team, you will be coached on how it all comes together and have the satisfaction of being an integral part of the sound team that makes it all happen.
The 2026/2027 season is just around the corner. We are upgrading the Kiva Ballroom audio/visual systems over the summer and are excited to add folks to our team to learn about and help with operating the new technology.
