Dear Singers -
You were fabulous tonight! I was so proud of you! I heard from people comments like 'best concert yet' and 'had me in tears' and 'the choir really watches you and responds to you'. (That may have been my favorite one!)
I'm sorry to say that the event ended with one of our members, Linda Dourney (alto), falling and getting injured. She was taken by ambulance to Del Webb Hospital. The update that I have at this time is that she injured her face and her teeth, and they were giving her some pain medication. Thank you to Fran Kneller (and her husband Art) for helping to get Linda's husband, Marty, to the hospital and for staying with him. Thank you to Barb Slager for helping on site as well and she is a nurse. This is where us being a family comes into play! We help each other, look out for each other, pray for each other and just send good vibes and cards when they are needed. I'm pretty sure she will not be at the concert tomorrow night. It might be a great time to drop her a card and/or a note. Here is her address:
