Grand Singers & Chorale -
It's CONCERT WEEK!
Super excited to see and hear you all on Wednesday! Remember a few things:
- When you're standing on the risers, do not lock your knees. Make sure you can 'bounce' at your knees. If you lock your knees, you can cut off the circulation, and your legs will fall asleep! No sleeping for this concert - remember 'Wake-up!' from A Winter Holiday!
- If you start to feel light-headed, or anything no right, work your way to sitting on the riser. Your neighbor will help you so we all keep singing! Now that you know your neighbor, hopefully you all know each other's names!
- Ladies, wear your shoes, so you're good for going up and down the risers and it won't be a shock on Saturday!
- Men, when you are sitting, please keep your legs together.
- Be patient this week, take it slow! We are not in a race to get on the risers! Go up on the side and use the handrail and then walk across your row.
- When you are finished singing, keep forward until it's time for your row to leave, then turn toward the way that you'll be going out.
- Be patient - the sound folks and the light folks are doing their best and they have issues to work through, so let's give them the space and the courtesy to do just that. No comments yelled out like 'these lights are too bright' or 'this is too loud' or anything else! If you have an issue, raise your hand and I'll get to it, I promise.
- Make sure to watch the PowerPoint. Gayle has put a lot of time into it and both Gayle and Carolyn have spent time getting all the pictures!!
At the end of the run-through, we'll time out our walking out and the placement for us to sing Joyful Tidings!
Here is our schedule this week:
Chorale - arrive by 12:00
Grand Singers - arrive by 12:15
Norma will walk us through the 'on-off' process again, just to make sure we have it!
See you on Wednesday!
