All - I received the following email - I want you all to know how much your cards, notes and prayers have meant to Phyllis Hall:
Hello, Pam.
This is Carol Hall Martin sending for my mother Phyllis Hall. She and I would both like to thank you for your email blast asking for cards and prayers for my mother as she recovers from a broken rib and trying to figure out what's going on with her cognitive abilities.
She and I were both overwhelmed with the response of cards. It was lovely to see.
If you would please thank the choir for me, I would very much appreciate it.
She still hopes to be able to join you for the Holiday performance.
Thank you again.
Carol Hall Martin for Phyllis Hall
Stay well,
Pamela
Grand Singers & Chorale -
I trust you are all having a relaxing, busy, laid-back, crazy, fun, excitement-filled, book-reading, moving-watching or whatever kind of summer you enjoy the most! We have 2 singers who aren't having such a great summer and are in need of our prayers and cards of support:
Phyllis Hall -
I just learned that Phyllis has fallen and was hospitalized for a few days. She is home now but struggling with a number of health issues. Her daughter is living with her and helping out, but it would great if she could hear some encouraging words from her friends at Grand Singers. She may be at the point where she is realizing it might be her time to retire from Grand Singers, not an easy point to be at. I hope you'll reach out to Phyllis and share some love with her!

Barb Slager -
Barb's mother passed away. Her mother was 95 and they were very close, so I can only imagine the loss Barb must be feeling! She's currently in WI, which is where her mother lived. Barb spent the last year having to fly back and forth to be with and support her mom, so once she is home, I'm sure she would love to hear from YOU!
Here is her address:

Both of these gals are altos, just in case you don't know them! It doesn't even matter if you do or don't know either of them, as we all can either imagine the pain and struggles, or we've lived through them.
Thanks for sharing a bit of your heart today!
Stay well,
Pamela
