Membership |

Membership in the Sun City Grand Music club costs $10 per year per person (January through December). Dues should be paid by January 31 for your membership to remain current. New members joining after July 1 are only charged $5 for the remainder of the year.

Sun City Grand Music Club |
Our Mission Statement: The Music Club is composed of residents who share a love of music and are dedicated to the performance of vocal and instrumental music for enjoyment by both our participants and the general public.
Working toward this goal has afforded our club members the opportunity to bring forth their many talents in the areas of singing and playing instruments, both singly and in groups, as well as with backstage and technical activities.

| Bands |
|
There are several bands within the Music Club, each one specializing in a different kind of music.
- The Beach Bums are a quartet of singers accompanied by keyboard and guitar, featuring music of an era rather than a particular style (specifically the 50s and 60s from rock 'n roll to country to folk). Please contact Marv Myhre at 623-975-2701 for more information.
- The Goldridge Gang is a group specializing in vocal harmony with a western flavor, including an eclectic mix of upbeat songs from the current era to old favorites from the past – everything from the Oakridge Boys to Elvis.

- Mountain Time includes banjo, mandolin, electric fiddle, rhythm & electric guitars, bass and vocals, providing good ol' handclappin', foot-stompin' bluegrass and country music. Please contact Chuck Metzinger at 623-975-4755 or Judy Snedeker at 623‑584‑5010 for more information.
- Order The Pepperonis the next time you order pizza (or have any kind of party). This group includes piano, banjo, tuba, clarinet, and a lead vocalist providing lively accompaniment for an old-time sing-along. Contact Ken Pierick at 623-214-9366 or email kenpierick@juno.com for more information.
- The Roadrunners consist of six professional musicians who have a background and interest in performing LIVE music reminiscent of the Rock and Roll groups of the 1950-1960 era. This popular group of talented entertainers has performed at venues all over the valley. It is the feeling of "The Roadrunners" that as long as the public enjoys our music, we will continue to ROCK! - The Senior Moments Combo is an instrumental trio consisting of trumpet, clarinet, and guitar backed up by a recorded rhythm section. They play old-time favorites such as "It Had to Be You" as well as country tunes like "For the Good Times" and "Always on My Mind." This is a group of singers, with no specific scheduled rehearsal times, who enjoy gathering together to sing old familiar Gospel songs, as a community service. Contact

Vocal Groups |
| |
There are several vocal groups within the Music Club.
- The Desert Divas are a fun-loving and talented group of 30+ women. They put on two performances each year: one holiday concert and another in spring. If you are interested in joining the group or for more information, please contact the group's choral director, Wendy Fentiman, at 623-975-2284.
- Enjoy a sing-along with The Gospelaires. Sing uplifting old-time gospel favorites such as "Just a Closer Walk with Thee," "Down by the Riverside," and "Let There Be Peace on Earth." - The Grand Singers is a chorus of over 135 volunteer singers. They rehearse once a week from September to April. They put on two shows each year: one in the spring and a Christmas show in late November or early December. For more information, please contact Don Johnson at 623-556-5790.
- The Grand Chorale is an auditioned group of about 30 singers taken from the ranks of the Grand Singers (above). The Chorale performs a few numbers at each of the Grand Singers' shows. For more information, please contact Don Johnson at 623-556-5790.
