THE GOLDRIDGE GANG
Sun City Grand boasts some real "home-grown" talent and the Goldridge Gang is a great example. Marv Myhre, Donna Mills, Larry Anderson, Judy Foster, Dave Marchant and Chuck Spadafore all call the Grand home and have been entertaining audiences in the West Valley for over five years. They are known for their onstage charisma and vocal harmonies reminiscent of the Statler Brothers and Oakridge Boys. They offer a lively mix of toe-tapping favorites that span the decades - definitely a show you won't want to miss.

BLIND DATE
An Original Mini-Musical by Alice Korsick
Can you still have fun on a blind date even if you're 'of a certain age'! Alice Korsick, who brought us the "Torch Songs With A Twist" show earlier this year, endeavors to answer that question with her latest creation, "Blind Date". Cheri Seith, one of the stars of Torch Songs, teams up with popular Grand actor and singer Howard Klemmer. What happens next is told in classic nightclub style: with words, music and comedy. Written by Ms. Korsick, the stage is set for our couple to meet for the first time in the "Blue Note Lounge" and the fun and laughter begin as they try to get to know one another.

GRAND CABARET AT SONORAN PLAZA - PRESENTS "THE ALL STARS" - 16TH Anniversary Celebration Sixteen years ago on the Fourth of July, a group of 22 former professional musicians from the Sun Cities area got together to create a stage band. They called themselves, appropriately enough, "The All Stars". Today, there are only five of the original members still performing, but replacements over the years have been equally as talented and enthusiastic as the group's original members. The "All Stars" feature music representing the best of the big band sound - America's swing era. But their range of music spans the years - right up to contemporary favorites. Their featured female vocalist, Jane Higgs, accompanied on the piano by Marg Burg, adds just the right blend to the performance. Dan Reed, one of the finest Jazz trumpet players in the West Valley, is the Musical Director and Ed White, the Group's Manager and founder, performs on the trombone. Join us in the relaxed informal cabaret atmosphere at Sonoran Plaza for this big band extravaganza.

CIMARRON NIGHTCLUB - ROCKIN' MEMORIES - Friday, July 20, 2012 - Cash Bar at 6:00 p.m. - Performance at 7:00 p.m. - Cimarron Club patrons love those live performances that bring back the days of 1950's and 60's rock & roll and harmonies. But they also love it when the performers mix it up with exciting other sounds like jazz, funk, big band and blues. You'll get it all as the Nightclub welcomes one of the most dynamic professional duos in the Phoenix area. Pam Barker and Bruce Rudolph combine powerful vocals, unique arrangements on the drums and keyboards, and an engaging stage presence that leaves their audiences clamoring for more. Pam has received Arizona's "Entertainer of the Year" award and won the title of "Country's Hottest Hitter" for the Patsy Cline impersonation at the Real Awards in Hollywood. Come join us for an unforgettable evening as you experience the magic of Rockin' Memories live on stage.
